The band at Vestavia Hills High School has a rich tradition of excellence spanning 50 years. Our philosophy is built around music being the vehicle to deliver opportunities for our students to gain meaningful life lessons. It is our sincere hope that our students leave our program with a profound understanding of effort, awareness, community, and responsibility.

Band Fees due Aug 31

Parent Showcase moved to Thursday night

Parents, Due to a couple of factors, the band has decided to move the Parent Showcase to Thursday night at 9:00 pm. In addition, band camp has been canceled for Friday, thus allowing the students to have an extra day off to enjoy their weekend. The band is in a good position this year with starting drill training much earlier than previous years. Meaning, the band is ahead of schedule with regards to learning the halftime show performance.
